The Churchill Hotel Near Embassy Row Washington

During our recent stay in DC for a business trip, we found our hotel near Embassy Row to be convenient for our meetings, as it was within walking distance. The spacious room provided a comfortable stay, and the responsive concierge and staff were helpful in providing local insights. Additionally, the proximity to several restaurants and the metro rail made exploring the city and reaching attractions like the Lincoln Memorial easily accessible.

The staff were not very friendly but got things done. Overall, a cute hotel with potential.

Actually everything was great, my next choice again in Washington. I appreciated that hotel had very good staff and location.

We appreciated this clean hotel with a lovely lobby. The restaurant here was reasonably priced with good breakfast buffet, we both ordered excellent dishes.

The room was spacious and clean, creating a pleasant stay overall. The staff, especially Hezekiah and the doorman, provided exceptional customer service. However, a few issues with room maintenance and lack of immediate assistance for a broken heater slightly tainted our experience. Nonetheless, the decor and ambiance were lovely, and the receptionist was a great problem solver.

Overall really nice stay. Gorgeous hotel with cozy rooms and accommodating staff. We loved a good restaurant with a local menu.

Big size good value hotel with an unbeatable location near Close to the Dupont Circle, Stores. Early check-in, knowledgeable personnel with exemplary customer service. Lobby was bright.

I recently stayed at Churchill for the first time during my trip to DC. The hotel had a great vibe and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bar had a good selection of reasonably priced cocktails and the breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced as well. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with perfect pillows. The location was convenient, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby, and it was only a 10-minute walk to the nearest metro station.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

Located in a superb neighborhood near the embassies and historic areas of the city, this hotel is an excellent choice for families. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the bathrooms are quite large as well. The staff is always friendly and efficient, making for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is always delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle service to nearby attractions, making it easy to explore the city.

The hotel could benefit from a pool.

Had a really comfortable stay, recommend this place. Clean hotel, consistently courteous stuff, perfect location close to subway. We booked a standard king room and loved it. Bathroom was beautiful and it had a shower, hair dryers and bath sheets for our convenience. Outstanding food and friendly service.

I had a wonderful experience staying at The Churchill Hotel Near Embassy Row. The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel itself was beautifully maintained, and my room was spacious and comfortable. The shower was amazing, and the view from the room was lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. I would highly recommend this hotel for a great stay.

As a solo traveler, I loved the spacious and comfortable rooms at this hotel near DuPont Circle. The staff was excellent and attentive, providing helpful suggestions for exploring the surrounding area. The restaurant offered a good selection of tasty food, and the hotel had a pleasant and traditional ambiance.

nice location and very good quality of room: dream bedding, cleanliness, soundproofing, new bathroom, giant TV screen, etc... embassy district behind is recommended for morning walks and avenue provides access to the metro and many restaurants and pubs.

The price is of course high, but it seems to be a rule in Washington. Breakfast is also expensive, so it's untested.

The Churchill Hotel had elegant accommodations and a convenient location. The culinary team's delectable menus elevated my experience. The hotel's modern amenities, like the 24-hour business center, were a plus.

The elevator music, which was a lovely selection of elevator classics from the 1980s.

The location was perfect for my trip.

I was in a remodel and there was no lobby. Practically. The internet was working in the hall but not in the room. I'm sure after the remodeling you'll be better off

The very nice hotel, central and a little far from the most relevant of the city. You have a metro nearby and several restaurants and supermarkets around. It is a very quiet residential area.

It's too expensive for what it offers. There was no breakfast or parking. The parking is $50 a day and you have to pay for it because you can't park in any of the surrounding streets because it is a residential area. Although the hotel is nice, in our case we will not return because it was more expensive than we were initially told. And the retention that they do to you on having come as deposit was almost 15 days.

The staff were superb and the grill/bar downstairs offered great quality food and drink at competitive prices.

We loved our stay at this hotel! The location was perfect for us, with a Metro station right at the door and close to areas of the city we had to go to. There were also some really nice restaurants closeby. The hotel facilities were great, with a very clean and comfortable room with good temperature controls and lighting. The linens and bath items were high quality, and the office nook was a nice surprise.

We had a wonderful stay at The Churchill Hotel for 3 nights. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and ensure our stay was comfortable. The hotel's location was perfect, right across from the Big Bus Tours Yellow and Green Lines, making sightseeing a breeze. Plus, being just three blocks from DuPont Circle Metro made it easy to explore the city. The rooms were cozy and despite the slightly small beds, we managed just fine. We would definitely return!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It's located in a very central area with plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby, and is very near to the metro station. The staff here are truly amazing, from the front desk to housekeeping to waitstaff. The room amenities such as ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities all made for a more comfortable stay. The restaurant and bar/lounge areas were great for leisure, and the fitness studio was a plus.

the hotel is located in a nice area and only a 15-minute walk from a popular neighborhood. This convenient location allowed me to explore the nearby attractions easily. Another advantage was being able to store my luggage at the hotel after checking out, which was helpful as my flight was later in the afternoon.

The lack of room servicing during my week-long stay was quite disappointing. Despite being promised that my room would be serviced, it was only cleaned once and the bin was not emptied.
